Los Angeles, Calif., – November 9, 2017 GRS Group, a premier provider of Assessment, Title Insurance, Financial Advisory and Transaction Services to commercial real estate clients around the world, is pleased to announce that Solomon Rosenbaum, PE, CEM, CPMP has joined the firm as its Director of Green & Energy Services. Mr. Rosenbaum will focus on the strategic growth, client servicing, and project execution of GRS Group’s Green and Energy Building Services team.
For over 15 years, Mr. Rosenbaum has worked in the energy engineering and due diligence fields. During his initial work on ESPC projects, Mr. Rosenbaum gained valuable experience in all facets of energy-related projects from the initial walk-through and calculations, to project management and commissioning. Over the past ten years, Mr. Rosenbaum has reviewed over 5,000 PCA and energy audit reports and performed energy audit/Local Law 87 inspections for over 200 properties ranging from small retail stores to multifamily or university complexes.
Mr. Rosenbaum has a BS and MS in mechanical engineering from Columbia University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in MD and NY, a Certified Energy Manager, and a Commissioning Project Management Professional.
At GRS Group, Mr. Rosenbaum’s primary focus is green and energy projects with a particular interest in helping borrowers capitalize on the relatively new Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Green Lending programs. “GRS Group is very fortunate to have Sol join the team,” said Noreen Clindinning, President of GRS Group. “He can bridge the gap between the technical and business sides of the projects to ensure a well-engineered project that brings value to the customer.”
