Culture First
GRS Group was founded in 2009 on the principle that strong businesses are built on trust, accountability and an environment that allows people to reach their full potential. We have always believed in integrity as a prerequisite for the success we seek. From the beginning we were determined to create a culture that reward the employees for their productivity and their creativeness at our company.
“Leaders build trust with employees by being clear with expectations, being transparent with respect to both successes and failures and future growth plans, and allowing employees to focus on their areas of expertise. They also truly encourage employees at all levels to have ownership in improving processes, and often implement suggestions in a quick manner. This fosters a really open environment where all ideas can be discussed without fear.” – Managing Director
We think of work as fun, and by that we mean thoroughly engaging, challenging, rewarding and enjoyable. Our culture is energetic, collaborative and thrives on a passion for individual and collective excellence. And we have always believed in the power of making a difference wherever we work and live. At the core of our business are GRS Group’s Values: Act with Integrity, Honor our Commitments, Strive for Excellence and Have Fun at Work. Our values are not simply statements of principle or aspirations for what we endeavor to achieve—they are bonds that connect us in everything we do.
“I have worked at many firms, and a few in this industry, and GRS is by far the best of them. I have a strong leadership team who stresses our work and goals, but is also understanding, flexible and supportive. I truly believe that GRS puts its employees first, and strives to be a fantastic workplace. I am very confident of our company’s future success and hope to remain an integral part of it”. – Project Manager
The Four Pillars
We also believe in the philosophy that there are four main pillars in a person’s life: Family, Career, Health and Spirit. They are all in constant need of our attention; and sometimes one or two require a disproportionate amount of our attention for a while, but all four deserve our efforts. It is also evident that each pillar is not independent; it’s the blend of all four, in association with a good supportive work environment, that create true happiness and success. We’ve created, and more importantly, institutionalized programs that support each of the four areas. Examples include our Book Group, Wellness Programs, Gratitude Practice, Mindful Leadership Training, and an internal Social Networking Platform.
“The work versus personal life balance at GRS allows for success in both. GRS is ambitious and incorporates its employee’s strengths and abilities in to the success of the company.” – Escrow Officer

“My career is important to me. GRS makes me feel secure in my career and offers the potential for future growth. The company fosters input from all employees. We are allowed to participate in multiple groups and projects that allow us to help with the growth of the company.” – Client Relationship Manager
GRS Group was recently ranked as 54 for Small Companies on Entrepreneur’s Top Company Cultures list, a comprehensive ranking of U.S.-based businesses exhibiting high-performance cultures. The Top Company Culture List showcases high-performance cultures across the United States. Entrepreneur measured companies focusing on 24 factors across seven areas: alignment, effectiveness, connection, management, engagement, leadership and basics, including pay, benefits and training.
“Although some of my co-workers work remotely from home offices, the company works hard to create a corporate culture of fun, sharing and mutual support that all can participate in, even without the face-to-face camaraderie of an office setting. I am able, and encouraged to, use my professional judgement to do whatever is necessary to just get the job done and to service our clients.” – Transaction Manager
People, Purpose, and Passion
This is the promise we make and the impact we deliver. We’re building value and opportunity by investing in technology, data science and analytics, systems delivery, engineering science and leading industry professionals.
“The structure of the company allows for unparalleled work-life balance, which is hard to find in a traditional office setting. While flexibility is extremely valuable, I think that the key to GRS’s success is our people and company culture. All levels of the team are accessible and open to questions, suggestions, and opinions. The quality of our personnel also shows in our work product – when people are proud of where they work and feel valued for their input, the work product created is of higher quality.” – Senior Technical Reviewer
The GRS Group business culture is unmistakably engaging and consistent across our businesses around the world-despite a tremendous diversity in geography, languages and cultures-because of the quality of people we seek and keep. Our people believe in what we do, love a challenge and are energized by each opportunity to innovate and excel.
