GRS | Corteq is providing Construction Risk Management consulting on 909 Half Street in Washington DC. The 548,000 square foot building broke ground in February 2015 and is still under construction. It will feature three levels of below-grade parking, 25,000 square feet of ground floor retail and 383 apartments.
Visually unique, the post-tensioned concrete structure’s facade features a custom curtain wall system with alternating projections for increased views. The project is a joint venture of the Ruben Cos. and the Related Cos., It is anticipated to be completed in 2017.
GRS | Corteq directors, Mark Halloran and Chris Corduan, are spearheading the services package on behalf of GRS | Corteq’s client KKR. Services provided include pre-construction cost analysis and on-going construction progress monitoring.
