Today Old Republic National Title Insurance Company became the last major underwriter to prohibit Creditor’s Rights coverage for owners and lenders. Old Republic has done this to comply with a new Texas law that prohibits any title underwriter from doing business in Texas if they offer Creditor’s Rights coverage on policies written outside of Texas.
